Wanted map with whole state on 1 side; this one has the north half on 1 side and the south half on the other.
If you plan to get off a major highway this is not the map for you. No side roads, nothing but interstates and major federal highways. Into the trash it goes. Verrrry disappointed. I got this map for when I'm roaming, which I like to do, and have no cellphone coverage. No help with this useless map!!!
I am a roadmap collector and recently bought the RandMcNally maps for all 50 states, plus a US Interstate map. I like the large scale used and helps considering my vision is less than ideal. I also use these maps to supplement the official maps that I also have for the entire country
They are good quality maps. Most recent I could find. Dated 2010. Sold on Amazon at a lesser price than at land bookstores, so do the math. And I don't belong to that big auto insurance company that gives you maps and routing, so this was the next best thing. Use Google for routing and get the state map here to make sure you are where you should be OR that your navigator is taking you correctly. (Ours made a few mistakes--we were heading south and it adamently wanted to take us north).
Nice Map! Appears to be more current than I first thought. Highly recommend these if you need a specific map for a state. Amazon is the only place I found these and I looked everywhere.
What happens if your GPS goes down or you can't get reception on your phone, this map is a nice back up to the what if situation. Never hurts to keep a spare for just in case!
Map is incomplete it is missing exists off major interstates that were listed on earlier editions. When they were asked why the response was incomplete and said they were not major ones. Well one must have a few hundred users per day.
Nice map to find little cities easy to read.
